Welcome to Mr. Curtis' Web Page**
Reading: Reading is one of the most important things a student can do to help them master skills needed in life. All students should be reading at home at least 30 minutes daily. This time includes reading of homework, reading their own books, and writing in their reading journal.
Writing: Writing is probably the single most important thing students can do to help themselves improve in all subjects. Please invite your students to write every day.
Math: In the 4th grade a lot of emphasis will be placed on multiplication and division facts. Students should have all facts mastered and passed off before entering the 4th grade.
We will be studying many things over the process of this year. In March and April we will be review all science units from the year. Click on the science tab, located in the navigation menu, for flash cards and study aides on all of our science topics.
Parents: Homework should never exceed 45 minutes a night (except for personal choice reading). If your student seems to have more than this on a nightly bases please email or call Mr. Curtis so that the homework can be modified. (435-789-3100 ext. 1425)
